Introduction
Having been cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Classic Ford Show was due to return in 2021. However, according to a press release from Classics World, a convenient date was not available for this year meaning the show will return in 2022.
Held at Mallory Park Circuit in Leicestershire, the event is a great day out for all the family. Ford vehicles from across the years – including Anglias, Cortinas, Escorts and Zephyrs – are on display, and an auto jumble area enables owners and enthusiasts to trade parts and accessories, as well as news and stories. In addition, there’s high speed drag strip action, vehicle demonstrations, and family entertainment throughout the day.
Classics World has announced that those who had purchased tickets for the 2020 event can either obtain a refund or transfer their ticket to the 2022 event.
Mallory Park is situated in rolling countryside between Leicester and Hinckley, and with its rich motorsport heritage, provides a stunning location for Europe’s biggest classic Ford event.
Organisers, owners and classic Ford fans alike are all hopeful that the 2022 will be bigger and better than ever.
